Didn’t get the e-mail from the State Police?
Here are a few things you can do:
- DID YOU COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIRED STEPS?
- You COMPLETED your online application with the NJSP.
- You COMPLETED your fingerprint appointment and was successfully fingerprinted by IdentoGo**.
- You successfully COMPLETED the training course AND were PHOTOGRAPHED as part of the course.
- Does the NJSP have your CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESS (Make sure that the NJSP e-mail is NOT going into your SPAM folder!)
- Did you submit FULL PAYMENT for ALL parts of the process (NJSP-IDENTOGO-LADD)
- Did you log into your NJSP SORA account, and check your current Application Status? (must be listed as “APPROVED” or “RENEWED”…NOT “PENDING”)
**Fingerprinting only required for Initial (New) Applicants, Renewal applicants do not require to be re-fingerprinted under most circumstances
If you have checked all of these things, then please provide us with the information below, and we will try to assist you in checking on the status of your application.
