1. FIRST, HAVE YOU COMPLETED ALL OF THE STEPS REQUIRED IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS, INCLUDING:
   • You FULLY COMPLETED the online application with the NJSP on the SORA website.
   • You PAID THE REQUIRED FEES IN FULL to the NJSP for your SORA application.
   • You provided the NJSP with your CORRECT & CURRENT EMAIL ADDRESS on file.
     • You checked your Spam/Junk Mail folder in your email for any email from the NJSP.
   • You successfully completed the required SORA training.
   • Completing the entire process within the required time frames:
     • NEW APPLICANTS HAVE THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE DATE THEY APPLIED TO THE NJSP TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS
     • RENEWAL APPLICANTS HAVE UNTIL THE DATE THEIR CURRENT SORA CARD EXPIRES TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS.
       
2. SECOND, If you were REQUIRED TO BE FINGERPRINTED for this application, did you COMPLETE the fingerprinting?
   
3. THIRD, HAVE YOU COMPLETED ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TRAINING?
   • Attended the total class hours required, either in-person or online
   • Did you sit for a picture taken by the Instructor, or did you submit a photograph online that confromed to the picture requirements.
     
4. FOURTH, HAVE YOU ALLOWED ENOUGH TIME FOR YOUR APPLICATION TO BE PROCESSED? (This can take up to TWO WEEKS)
   
5. FINALLY, AFTER COMPLETING ALL OF THE ABOVE STEPS, HAVE YOU LOGGED INTO YOUR NJSP SORA ACCOUNT TO CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION? (If your application indicates “APPROVED” or “RENEWED” you should find links to your Approval Letter and you digital ID Card below your application status?
   

If you have completed ALL of these steps, and have still have not gotten a response from the NJSP, you can provide us with the information below and we will try to assist you in checking on the status of your application. Please allow for up to two business days for us to respond, thank you.
