Didn’t get the e-mail from the State Police?

NOTE: You MUST COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIRED STEPS FOR YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE YOU CAN REQUEST A TRACKING STATUS.

  1. FIRST, DID YOU COMPLETE ALL OF STEPS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS?
    • You have COMPLETED the online application with the NJSP.
    • You have successfully been fingerprinted by IdentoGo (if applicable**).
    • You have successfully attended & COMPLETED the training course AND were PHOTOGRAPHED as part of the course.
  2. SECOND, Does the NJSP have your CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESS on file?
  3. THIRD, did you check to see that the NJSP e-mails are going into the SPAM or JUNK MAIL folders in your e-mail account?
  4. FOURTH, have you submitted FULL PAYMENT for all of the required fees? (NJSP-IDENTOGO-LADD)
  5. FINALLY, Did you log into your NJSP SORA account, and check on your current Application Status? (must be listed as “APPROVED” or “RENEWED”NOT “PENDING”)
    **Fingerprinting only required for Initial (New) Applicants, Renewal applicants do not require to be re-fingerprinted under most circumstances

If you have checked all of these things and have completed ALL STEPS, you can provide us with the information below and we will try to assist you in checking on the status of your application.
