This program combines our First Aid and our CPR/AED course together into a comprehensive training program which will provide the student with overall knowledge an skills to handle most medical emergencies. First Aid skills include recognizing the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness, as well as dealing with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reactions, diabetic issues and seizures. In addition, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills are taught which will help maintain blood flow to the brain and heart in an emergency situation, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Training will provide the student with skills to recognize unresponsive victims, as well as proper operation of AED equipment.
This course is valid for new and renewing certifications. Upon successful completion, the student will certified for a period of two (2) years.
