LADD’s Security Officer RENEWAL Re-Certification Course is the course required to be completed by all candidates who wish to re-certify their current New Jersey Security Officers license. The course is an 8-Hour in-person review course which is delivered in one day in a classroom environment. In order to successfully complete this course, the student must; 1) attend the required number of classroom hours for the course, 2) pass a written test with a minimum score of 70%, and 3) have an ID photograph taken by the instructor. *All topics covered are in compliance with subject matter as required by the New Jersey State Police and the NJ SORA law.

PLEASE NOTE: Before registering for this course, the student must FIRST have submitted an online INITIAL application with the New Jersey State Police and met other criteria as specified under the SORA law. You are required to submit to us, the 6-DIGIT APPLICANT ID NUMBER that will be issued to you by the NJSP after you file your application with the NJSP.
