NOTE: You MUST COMPLETE ALL OF THE REQUIRED STEPS FOR YOUR APPLICATION BEFORE YOU CAN REQUEST A TRACKING STATUS.
- FIRST, HAVE YOU COMPLETED ALL OF THE STEPS REQUIRED IN THE APPLICATION PROCESS?
- COMPLETED THE ONLINE APPLICATION WITH THE NJSP?
- If required, successfully been FINGERPRINTED by IdentoGo?**
- Successfully COMPLETED THE TRAINING REQUIREMENT?
- Have had your ID PHOTOGRAPH taken by the Instructor?
- Submitted PAYMENT IN FULL for all of the required fees associated with your application?
- SECOND, Does the NJSP have your CORRECT E-MAIL ADDRESS on file?
- THIRD, have you allowed ENOUGH time for your application to be processed? (This process can take up to TWO WEEKS)
- FOURTH, did you check to see that the NJSP e-mails are going into the SPAM or JUNK MAIL folders in your e-mail account?
- FINALLY, After completing all of the previous steps, have you logged into your NJSP SORA account, and checked your Account? (links to your approval letter and card should appear below your most recent application?
**In most cases, fingerprinting is only required for New Applicants, Expired Applicants, and Applicants who are changing Armed status. Check with the NJSP to determine if you need to be fingerprinted,
If you have completed ALL of these steps, and have still have not gotten a response from the NJSP, you can provide us with the information below and we will try to assist you in checking on the status of your application. Please allow for up to two business days for us to respond, thank you.
